Peanut Gallery Can Change History

Though ticket holder/spectator Spike Lee was blamed for provoking Reggie Miller's scintillating "Knick Crushing" game in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, it probably won't score higher than Gospel singer Mahalia Jackson's provocation of her good friend, Martin Luther King during the last 7 minutes of his "I Have a Dream" speech. As destiny would have it, Mahalia was seated close to the podium having sang there before King. As King got into his great message, Mahalia began chiding him saying, "Tell them about the dream, Martin, tell them about the dream." At that point, King looked up from his notes, never to return to them again, and did just what his friend provoked him to do. The rest is history.
