Failure is inevitable, but the recovery process is where the war is won or lost. Our pride and ego will struggle to the bitter end to protect themselves from exposure. Unfortunately, while these 2 liars ramp up the blame, shame and injustice, a veritable gold mine of growth lies hidden. St. Augustine offered a three-part strategy; humility, humility, humility. Why do we insist on finding any and every reason not to accept failure as a gift. Humilty allows one to uncover character and judgment gaps that were the real cause of the failure.
