Not necessarily the suave of a Henry Cabot Lodge or reticence of a Jimmy Carter, but Dennis Rodman may be the only American with the necessary eccentric-ness to melt the titanium bamboo curtain between the US and N. Korea. He is slowly building a kind of "friendship" with N. Korea's President Kim Jong-un. They may not get into the serious stuff of nuclear testing or human rights, but still his idea of "friendship diplomacy" is not that bad. Isn't that how a lot of deals finally get done; somewhere on the last 3 holes at Pebble Beach? Anyway, who knows, Kim may feel like opening up to the professional folks if Dennis is there as an ally.
