When cruising past I-40 on South Main St. in Kernersville, motorist are treated to a live show by the robust, galvanizing "We Buy Treasure's" dancing marketeer. The New York Knick's had their "Dancing Harry" back in the seventies. Charlie Finley and the Oakland Athletics helped MC Hammer launch his career as he danced around the ballpark. How about the Danny Green juke/shuffle that became a staple motivator before Carolina basketball games. The spinning sign holder at Main and 40 is truly a virtuoso. His smile can be seen from East Winston. He's been manning his post now for years. He normally wears a flashy, snazzy gold and black ensemble. But his greatest gift to the "We Buy Treasure" organization is his unparalleled enthusiasm in displaying their sign. The operation has grown to 4 stores. I wouldn't be surprized if their pirouetting sign guy didn't help! Wonder if he could train some of the less interesting corner "sign holders"??
