You're kidding me, right…these pro athletes who are now pulling in multi-million dollar contracts, are griping about the NCAA rules that governed their amateur status while they were in college. It's a little pathetic moaning about how rough it was that you had to eat off the university's meal plan. These guys are so far removed from that environment. As a pro, everything is about the money…endorsements, bonuses, free agency, salary caps…what difference does it make now that you may have had to share a ride to get to football practice…If these fellows are troubled by how much the NCAA is depriving the college athlete, why not spend some of your off season on campus taking some of them out to dinner and driving them to the Mall.
