Mary Poppins was actually quoting Aristotle when she said, "Well begun is half-done." One of my addictions is "Not getting started." I need a support group regarding this curse of mine. Heard a great reference to the matter of one's sobriety length. When asked, "how long?' the one in recovery said, "what time is it?" The inquirer said, "10 am." The one in recovery said (even though he had been clean for 10 years,) "I've been sober for 3 hours." My recovery for the "not getting started disease" begins RIGHT NOW and lasts until its time to get started on the next thing.. . Calvin Coolidge said, "We can't do everything at once, but we can do something at once."
