Pain is a tough customer. Of course, we hate it. Some of it is so intense we just have to find a way to block it or we won't make it to the next hour. Raw, unrelenting, complicated, and maybe getting worse. But, can we flip it over just for the sake of flipping it ? ? 90% of us have eventually survived it. Over half of us have made some radical life changes that otherwise we would have never ever done ! ! Lastly, when we confront it head on for all its worth, we discover that much of our life is being held hostage by this ugly toxin. Ok, wish it would leave, but I not gonna let this thing identify me. I choose to be identified by that which is "true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy." (Philppians 4: 8,9)
